Valencia County Jail Roster Records
Current county jail custody is published through the official Valencia County JailTracker public roster. The agency name in that system is Valencia County Adult DC NM, and the roster points to the Valencia County Detention Center. The county's Detainee Information page directs users to that roster for the current inmate list. The roster is free, does not require a login, and the inspected agency settings showed images enabled, current-offender display turned on, export-to-PDF tools, and a very high result limit for searches.
The roster is still only one part of Valencia County inmate records. Detention staff may disclose charges and bond amounts by phone, but the county says housing, classification, mental-health, and medical details are not public and will not be released. A person sentenced to New Mexico Corrections Department custody is searched in the NMCD offender search, not on the county roster. Federal inmates route to the BOP inmate locator, immigration detainees route to ICE ODLS, and victim custody notices can be managed through VINELink.
The county detainee information page is the official page that points the public to JailTracker and explains the limits on phone disclosure.
That source matters because it separates the public roster from nonpublic jail details such as housing or medical status.
Use the Valencia County Inmate Roster
The practical search starts with a name, but JailTracker allows more than a simple last-name query. A blank search can return the active list, and the search panel can narrow by first name, last name, middle name, gender, offender ID, permanent ID, intake date range, and agency. Valencia County currently lists only the Valencia County Detention Center as the agency option. Results show the person's name, gender, offender ID, permanent ID, and intake date. A row opens the profile with the booking image, intake details, status, charge tables, bond fields, and additional public descriptors.
- Open the official JailTracker roster for Valencia County Adult DC NM.
- Search by last name first, then add first or middle name if the result set is large.
- Use offender ID, permanent ID, gender, or intake date range only when that information is known.
- Open the profile row and check the CriminalOffenses table for charge, case, bond type, and bond amount fields.
- If the person is not found, call detention records or check NMCD, BOP, ICE, court records, and VINELink based on the custody path.
The JailTracker search screen shows the actual search fields used for Valencia County inmate records.
The roster is strongest for active local custody, while older booking records or records outside the public profile require a records request.
Valencia County Roster Search Fields
JailTracker gives Valencia County inmate records several field paths. None of the name fields is required for a basic browse, but a name or ID makes the search more useful. The Type filter exists in the code as Active, Released, or All, yet the Valencia County configuration hides released mode because the agency is set to current offenders only. That detail is important. The backend setting showed released-retention days, but the public screen should not be treated as a released-inmate archive.

Valencia County Inmate Profile Fields
A Valencia County inmate profile is a booking record summary, not a full criminal history. The public API inspection on June 22, 2026 showed image flags, offender IDs, name fields, gender, status, book date, release date when present, created and updated timestamps, and detail tables. CriminalOffenses rows can include offense text, arrest code, statute, charge description, status, case number, control number, bond type, and bond amount. AdditionalInfo may include age, race, birthplace, height, weight, hair color, eye color, body build, complexion, and scheduled release date.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Photo / image | Booking-style image when hasImage is true and images are enabled. |
| Intake Date | Booking or intake date and time tied to the custody event. |
| Status | Active custody status and charge statuses such as pre-arraignment or probable cause. |
| Offender Id | JailTracker agency ID for the booking record. |
| Permanent Id | Person identifier retained in the jail system. |
| CriminalOffenses | Charge, statute, case number, bond type, and bond amount fields. |
| AdditionalInfo | Age, race, physical descriptors, and scheduled release if present. |
| Withheld fields | Housing, classification, medical, and mental-health details are not disclosed by county policy. |
Valencia County Charges and Bond
Booking charges are entered during jail intake, but bond payment still requires local confirmation. The Valencia County Bonding Out page says the detention center accepts money orders only for inmate bonds, and the exact amount must be listed because the jail submits the bond to the court. The county tells users to call the Records Department at 505-565-8900 ext. 1 before arranging payment. JailTracker may show bond type and amount, but the records line is the safer path before a money order is delivered.
Valencia County also says a person held on a magistrate case is generally permitted to post a cash surety, which the county describes as 10 percent paid to the court rather than using a bonding company. If release requires an ankle monitor, installation depends on weekday Pretrial availability. The county states that release is estimated at 30 to 45 minutes after monitor installation. A no-bond row on JailTracker means posting money alone will not release the person from that hold.
| Bond or Hold | Valencia County record note |
|---|---|
| Money order bond | Accepted method for detention center bond payments; exact amount required. |
| Cash surety | Magistrate cases may allow 10 percent paid to the court. |
| No bond | Observed in JailTracker charge rows; money is not enough for release. |
| Ankle monitor | Can delay release until Pretrial installs the device during weekday availability. |
When Valencia County Records Are Missing
If a Valencia County jail roster search does not locate a person, the next step depends on the likely custody status. Call the detention front desk at 505-565-8900 ext. 4 or the Records Manager at ext. 1 for current charge and bond questions. Use Valencia County NextRequest for public records such as historical booking records, local jail records, or a mugshot not visible online. Use the sheriff's records process for local records checks, crash reports, or law-enforcement reports. The sheriff's office notes local records checks and case reports at $1.00 per page.
For custody after sentencing, search NMCD. For federal imprisonment after conviction, search BOP. For immigration detention, search ICE ODLS. For custody notifications, use VINELink. For tips, Valencia County Sheriff's Office references Crime Stoppers and the P3 Tips app, but P3 is not a jail roster, warrant search, or inmate records portal.
Custody split: Valencia County Detention Center covers local jail custody. Central New Mexico Correctional Facility is a state prison and uses NMCD offender search.
Valencia County Jail Facilities
Two Los Lunas facilities create a common records mix-up. The Valencia County Detention Center is the local jail for adults arrested in Valencia County, people held on warrants, pretrial detainees, and people serving short local jail commitments. Central New Mexico Correctional Facility is also in Los Lunas, but it is an NMCD state prison for sentenced prisoners, reception, diagnostic, geriatric, mental-health, long-term-care, restrictive-housing, and Level 1 farm populations. The name of the facility decides the lookup system.

Valencia County Mail and Money
Mail and commissary records use several vendors, so the functions should not be blended. The detainee mail page sends letters through Jail ATM at P.O. Box 16120 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, with the Valencia County Detention Center, state, inmate name, and inmate number included. The money page uses JailATM for commissary deposits and orders, TechFriends at 1-870-627-5476 for phone deposits, and ICSolutions at 1-888-506-8407 for phone-call setup. Orders must be placed by Tuesday at midnight for delivery day.
| Item | Channel | Valencia County detail |
